Curtis is our Pet Services Manager, overseeing our Veterinary Hospital and Grooming Salon. He has been in the pet service industry since 2011 and has a passion for providing outstanding care to animals and building strong relationships with their owners. He grew up in Tacoma and has had pets since he was young – at times perhaps a few too many. He made his way into the veterinary field after adopting his terrier mutt, Beans, who inspired him to make a difference in the lives of pets. He, his wife Josie, and his son Greyson share their home in Bonney Lake with their three small dogs Beans, Remi, and Chloe. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and relaxing playing World of Warcraft (For the Horde!). He has a special affinity small dogs and has been dubbed the ‘Chihuahua whisperer’ by his staff – which he takes as a compliment.
Dr. Ali Clark joined Reber Ranch in the spring of 2018 and has degrees in Zoology and Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. Her passions are internal medicine, dentistry, preventative care, and client education. Outside of the Veterinary Hospital she is a competitive gymnastics coach and loves to go camping, explore trails, and spend time with her family. She has one dog (Spencer), 3 cats (Roxy the fluffy one, Simon the loud one, and Zelda the tiny forever kitten), and one western hognose rescue snake named Hoggle - the cranky old man at 18 years old.
Dr. Cory Erb is one of our newest doctors and is excited to be a part of the Reber Ranch family. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University in May of 2020. Cory is originally from northern Arizona, where he met his wife, Sharlie. Together, they have 4 children and an energetic labradoodle named Harper. Outside of work, Cory loves spending time with his family playing, traveling, and camping.
Cory has always had a passion for the wellbeing of both people and pets. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (with a minor in business management) in 2012, and in 2015 developed a concept for a new veterinary business model to improve the quality of life for both veterinary staff, pets, and pet owners. In 2018 he won 3rd place in the national VetPrep Idea Competition, and is currently developing a software system to execute this vision.
Dr. April Gardner hails from the east coast. She grew up in northern Virginia before heading to New York City as an undergraduate. She earned a B.S. in Biology with honors from St. John’s University in 2016. She then moved back to Virginia and graduated with both a Master of Public Health (MPH) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2020 from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA.
Looking for an adventure, Dr. Gardner moved to Washington immediately following graduation. She loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping, and rock climbing. She also enjoys cooking and yoga. She is excited to explore the pacific northwest and welcomes any and all recommendations!
Dr. Gardner enjoys working with both dogs and cats. She has special interests in behavior, Fear Free, preventative care, internal medicine, and surgery. Dr. Gardner understands that pets are more than just animals - they’re a part of the family. The best part of her job is fostering the human-animal bond through client education and treating each patient as she would treat her own pet.
